InDesign Samples

We were required to design a newsletter and brochure using Adobe InDesign at the end of the semester for our Style & Design class. Our professor encouraged us to use stories we had written from the Auburn Reporter, the alumni newsletter for the Department of Communication and Journalism, and compile them into a four-page newsletter. I wanted to incorporate small details in my design while still keeping it elegant and clean in order to stay consistent with the image of Auburn University. I also changed the name to The PR Post because I only included stories that classmates had written about the PR department at Auburn.

For the brochure, we could choose any subject matter that we are passionate about. I chose to create a brochure bringing awareness to Susan G. Komen for a Cure as that is my social sorority's philanthropy. Even though October was a biggest month for promoting Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, we are constantly hosting events and fundraisers to bring awareness to the cause. We also attended the Race for the Cure every year as a sisterhood in support of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.

All of the content and pictures were taken from the Susan G. Komen website. This brochure will not be distributed anywhere but on this site and is meant to be an educational brochure for anyone who sees it, as well as an example of my design skills.
